Blogs for Writers – Jan 28, 2011

January 28, 2011

3 Links

This week I completed five character analyses and had fun getting to know those people better. Along the way, I found three helpful blogs worth sharing with you guys.

Also, one of my kids pointed me toward Julian Smith’s latest video: Don’t Interrupt Me When I’m Reading a Book.

That’s just ironic.

How to Determine Your Character’s Motivating Need, by Jeannie Campbell

Myths and Superstitions of Writing, from Garbl, compiled by Gary B. Larson

The Dilemma of the Prolific Writer, by Rachelle Gardner

Have you found a good blog for writers?

Share it in the comments. Especially if you wrote it.

Have a good weekend!

“The Dilemma of the Prolific Writer” was one of my week’s favorites too!

Rachelle Gardner is great. I learn something everytime I read her blog.

Great video–I’ll have to show it to my wife (who often interrupts me while I’m reading a book).

I loved the video as well. I think I’ll start singing it around the house. My kids are ALWAYS interrupting me. And they don’t limit themselves to interrupting when I’m reading. They interrupt no matter what I’m doing.

I monitor comments to ensure nothing is posted that is hurtful or damaging. Thanks for understanding.
